I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Gogi. He was truly a kind-hearted individual with a wonderful sense of humor. His presence brightened our workplace; his retirement was far to short. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May his memory bring you comfort and peace.

  4. Gogi and I met in Arusha. We were classmates in Arusha Meru Secondary School. And were badminton buddies for 4 years. Every evening, rain or shine, we met for 2-3 hours. And then… we went our separate ways.

Decades later, fate put us in touch with one another. It felt like no time had passed since we were in school!

Gogi made it so easy to restart our friendship. We spoke off and on. And we texted each other when we weren’t talking.

    Then suddenly… this news!

Gogi – I know you are up to some mischief somewhere up there. With that naughty glint in your eye.

God Bless, my friend. You will be in my heart and mind.

  5. Hi Gogi I only met you last summer for few golf outings. But one thing is certain you make every outing fun with your Corky humor. My sincere condolences to all family, colleagues and friends. Friendship this coming golf season.
    REST IN PEACE DEAR GOGI.

  8. My sincere condolences to the Lalh Families for their loss. I was very upset & shocked to hear about Gogi passing away. I have been communicating with him on a daily basis on WhatsApp since he visited UK for Jite Paji’s birthday last year. In our communication on 28th March 2024 he requested that we call each other when we can as he said he had retired. So we agreed we would talk on the weekends. However we weren’t able to make that happen in the last two weeks for some reason or the other. May Waheguruji give strength to the Lalh families in this very difficult time. May his soul RIP 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Such a nice personalty where we spent the evenings together playing badminton in arusha and thereafter go for drive in his car.

I knew Gogi since his childhood in Arusha. After immigrating to Canada, coincidentally, we both ended up living in Edmonton and with his eldest brother Joginder, we were neighbors for a while just 4 houses apart! We met often at some mutual gatherings and while
Shopping. I met Gogi on March 26 while shopping at Costco and talked about going out for lunch sometime next week! His sudden passing away came as a shock and heartbreaking news to me.. My deepest and heartfelt condolences to his wife and all members of his family at this time of sorrow and grief. May the Almighty keep his kind soul in eternal peace.
    Waheguru-Waheguru-Waheguru.

  13. Our whole family is so saddened by the passing of Kuldip. We have known one another since childhood in Arusha, Tanzania. Our families knew each other.
We started at primary school, went on to secondary school, and coincidentally were not only the two classmates who ended up in Edmonton, but ended up working for the same organization. Kuldip’s smile, his dry wit, his sharp intelligence and kind nature will be so missed.
I will always remember him as a gentle and kind and helpful soul.
Until we meet again – Waheguru ji 🙏🏼

I am saddened and shocked to hear of Gogi’s passing. My heart goes out to his close ones and all of us that knew him. I know Gogi from work. He was always cheery, warm, and had a good sense of humour (maybe this was all because he was nearing retirement 😉 But really, I believe it was just his nature). I am deeply saddened that he didn’t get to enjoy much of his retirement. You are sorely missed Gogi.

  15. Lorenzo Heinrichs

Gogi’s good personality preceded my meeting of him. I had heard of peasant and supportive interactions with Gogi before he retired but only met him in person when he returned to CRA after retirement for a short term consulting role. I exchanged pleasantries with him during that time. Even though he did not know me, he introduced himself as I passed by his cubicle and made a wonderful impression on me from that point forward. I hope his friends and family will find comfort in all the words of support and good memories posted from those outside his immediate circle of influence.

  18. Gogi was a true friend, I talked to him regularly and communicated with him for 2 hours on Friday April 5, 2024 and he messaged me thereafter the next day. I recollect with great satisfaction how helped me after my knee replacement surgery in January and assured me he was there if I needed any more assistance.

I will miss you buddy, may you rest in eternal peace.

  19. Sadru (sad) Sunderji

This came as a shock to me. I met Gogi at CRA and became good acquaintances. I golfed with Gogi and his friends plus he joined our golf group whenever we were short of players. He would make an effort to get other players to fill the spots. We used to meet for lunch after he retired and chat for hours as time was not an issue. My sincere condolences to his family and may his soul rest in peace

  30. It was almost 30 years that Gogi told me his favorite movie ever was the Lion King. He was part of my audit team with Darcy and Steve out on a large file assignment at the time. What a delight! That’s the day I realized how much I really liked this guy.

I will never forget his expression of joy, his smile, his knowledge and insight, his timely humour and trademark giggle that made it such a pleasure to work with him. I was privileged to enjoy all that again and again at the retiree lunches over the past few years.

Gone far to soon and so unexpected. I will miss you my friend and colleague. My condolences to Gogi’s wife and family and to all of us missing our most special friend.

Peace and love in the circle of life,.
