My name is Corine Ferguson and am the Executive Director for the Alberta Resiurce Centre for Quality Enhancement (ARCQE). While I did not have the privilege of knowing Monika personally members of ARCQE’s team had come to know her and appreciate her as a valuable contributing professional of the early learning community and had recently made recommendations of working to increase her engagement as part of ARCQE’s service delivery support for Early Childhood Educators.
Today our organizational family and early learning community join with you in sharing this most tragic and unexpected sadness. Words cannot begin to express the depth of sorrow we feel in the shadow of Monika’s loss to your family and the many children & families whose lives she touched and made an immeasurable difference.
