It is with a deep sense of sorrow and sadness that our family announces the passing of Donald Ross the 3rd, aka Charlie, after a long battle of illness.
Charlie was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on January 13, 1975 and passed away peacefully in Edmonton Alberta at the Grey Nuns Hospital on March 18, 2024.
Charlie will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his beautiful children, Donald Ross the 4th (Amanda), Willow, and Charlie Junior (CJ); his father, Donald Ross the 2nd; mother, Carole; brother, Gordon; sisters, Crystal (Mike), Nicole (Nick), Carrie-Anne (Matthew), nephews Logan, Jaydon, Noah, Tanner, Ian, Chevy, Hudsyn, and Axel; nieces Deserae, Justace, Hailey, Star-Lynn, Clarity, Lilly-Anne, Aubree, Olivia, and Paislee; as well numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. And of course, his best friend, Chicco.
Charlie was predeceased by his grandparents, Donald Ross The First, and Irene Ross; uncles Ricky and Dennis; aunt, Marlene; cousins, Alden, Rachelle; grandparents Gordon and Dorothy Workman; aunt, Norma; and nephews, Aiden and Connor. Also predeceased by his best friend, Greg, the mother of his oldest child and lifelong friend, Sheri Worobec and his beloved dog, Tito.
Our family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Grey Nuns Hospital, in particular his social worker, Gord, for their kindness, support, and care during his time there.
Funeral Services for Charlie will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Edmonton Crematorium and Funeral Home. 6403 Roper Road, Edmonton Alberta.
If I could pick anyone to be my big brother in this world I would pick you over and over again. You had the biggest heart and no matter what you were there for me even when I was wrong you were there to save me I love you brother and miss you so much.
