Hello, I was an old work associate of Louis, we started on bare mains together and were the first journeyman(plumbers) to get bonus-ed up to Journeymen wages. I remember when Louis and I would listen to older North Western staffers complaining about their jobs, Louis looked at me and said “don’t they know their in heaven”. I don’t know his family, but would like to pass on my condolences anyway. The passing of loved ones is one of the toughest things to handle in this life.

Louis was fun to be around, at work and play. I shall always remember his great sense of humour, although much of it was at my expense.
My wife Lynda and myself will never forget Louis, gone but never forgotten.

    Sincere condolences.
It is reassuring to know that Louis was and remains well loved. It could not be otherwise given his gentle love and patience for others. Louis’ smile and infectious humour, laughter and twinkle in his eye will always be remembered and no doubt live on in his children and grandchildren.
    Much love,
    Lindy and family

  13. My condolences to all that have had the pleasure of knowing my uncle Louis. I had the pleasure of not only calling him my uncle but my God Father. He was so good to so many people and cared about everyone. I got to go for a short visit in July and to see the love that he had for my Auntie Barb, his boys and his grandbabies was amazing. Uncle Louis reminded me a lot of my grandpa Gagnon, strong, his sense of humor, his smile, they way he loved people and all his grandchildren and most of all his dirty jokes.
I love you Uncle Louis and may you rest in peace. Please watch over Auntie Barb while she grieves the huge loss of the love of her life and best friend!!

  14. So sorry to hear about Louis passing,RIP, my condolences to the family. Louis and I were parteners the first year we worked at NUL in 1987. We shared so many laughs thru out our careers. One of the best jokes, was we often said we were brothers, all though were not related. We had many people wondering?Louis, I wish lakes that calm, walleye that are large and Fairways that are wide.
