Thulasidas Gopala Pillai

In loving memory of Prof.(ret) G. Thulasidas born August 12, 1942, peacefully departed on Dec 19, 2023.

He was a remarkable man whose life was a testament to dedication, humility, and love. Born into humble beginnings, he carved a path of immense success through unwavering determination and hard work. As a distinguished professor of physics, his intellect and passion for sharing knowledge touched countless students over a career of more than three decades.

Not a single soul could speak ill of him, for his character was unblemished and his heart pure.

Above all, he cherished his family. His devotion to his wife, whom he lovingly shared over four decades of marriage with, was truly inspiring. His two daughters were his pride and joy, and his presence was a steady source of guidance and love in their lives.

He is survived by his loving wife, daughters and grand daughters who will carry forward the values he embodied.

We will be coming together on December 30, 2023 at 1 :00 PM at Edmonton Crematorium & Funeral Home, 6403, Roper Road NW, Edmonton, AB Β T6B3G6Β  to bid farewell. Β There will be prayers and a time to remember and celebrate the remarkable journey of his life.
