In Loving Memory of Kul Bhushan Bhatia

Born on July 3, 1937 in Sheikhupura, India, Kul Bhushan Bhatia peacefully passed away on August 27, 2023 in Edmonton, Alberta. He was the beloved son of Ishar Das Bhatia and Chanan Devi Bhatia.

Kul was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Indu Bhatia. He was a pillar of strength and love for his family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.

Kul’s legacy lives on through his cherished daughters: Mona, Deepa, and Ruma. Mona, along with her husband David, is blessed with three children โ€“ Vishaal (Mahsoo), Vineeta (Maisam), and Vikrant (Meenu). Deepa, accompanied by her husband Kevin, adores her two daughters, Shae and Ayesha. Ruma, with her husband Bikram, treasures their two children, Bhavin and Himani.

He was a successful and hard working Realtor. He enjoyed travelling and watching movies with his loving wife. His kindness and love will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones.

Funeral services to celebrate Kul Bhushan Bhatia’s life will be held at the Edmonton Crematorium & Funeral Home, located at 6403 – Roper Road NW, on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM.

During this time of sorrow, let us come together to honor and remember a life well-lived. Your presence and support would mean a great deal to the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider making a donation to a charity of your choice in Kul’s name.

May his soul find eternal peace, and his memory forever remain a blessing to us all.
