Surjit Singh Sahota, born on February 12, 1931 in Begumpur Jandiala Hoshiarpur, Punjab, was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He married the late Gurmeet Kaur and raised four wonderful children.
After serving with distinction in the Delhi Police Force as a Sub Inspector, Surjit Singh embraced a new adventure. In 1983, he moved his family to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada seeking a brighter future.
He found happiness in the simple joys of life – playing billiards, cards and cherishing moments with loved ones.
His warm smile and unwavering love will forever echo in our hearts.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Edmonton Crematorium and Funeral Home, 6403 Roper Rd. NW Edmonton, AB T6B 3G6.
